I was born and raised in Southeastern NH. I enjoyed tinkering with my dad in his workshop building
models of all kinds. I enjoyed these times creating and solving problems. As I progressed through high
school I developed an interest in archaeology. I went to UNH to study Anthropology with a focus on
archaeology. At some point I took a woodworking class to satisfy an arts requirement. I realized I really
enjoyed the process of designing and building furniture and cabinets. By the time I graduated I had
accumulated enough credits to receive a second undergraduate degree in Studio Arts with a focus on
furniture making. After graduation I went back to UNH this time to work as a technician in the Art
Department woodshop. I worked there for 7 years working with students to safely finish projects of
their own design. I also did a lot of sweeping and taking out the trash. After UNH I worked in the
woodworking industry doing custom cabinets, custom countertops, millwork, furniture, and a variety of
other woodworking projects. During this time I started to work with a MultiCam CNC router. I was able
to approach the process of using a CNC router with a background in furniture and cabinet making. I have
since had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of individuals and businesses helping them by
applying the power of CNC routing technology to their project.
